Tap when the sliding block is right above the tower. Whatever hangs over falls off, and the tower gets narrower.
How to play
Back to the gameIn short
- A block slides above the tower, from the left and from the right in turn. Tap and the block drops onto the tower.
- The part that hangs over the edge is cut off and falls. The next block is as wide as what is left.
- Place a block perfectly and the width stays, the game says Perfect. A block that misses the tower knocks it down.
Goal
In a level, build the tower up to the goal height marked by the dashed line. Reaching it gives the first star. The second and third come from a long streak of perfect blocks or from a wide tower, depending on the level. In the Endless tower and the Daily Tower you build until the tower falls.
Perfect drops and growing
- A perfect drop has a small tolerance: 12 px in the first level, 4 px in the last ones. The block then lines up with the tower.
- After five perfect blocks in a row the block grows by 28 px, up to the starting width. The block before that glows softly as a warning.
- Every 8 blocks the blocks slide a little faster.
Levels
- There are 30 levels. The next one unlocks when you earn at least one star in the previous one.
- From level 11 special rules appear. Wind pushes the falling block, and the arrow above the block shows its direction and strength in px.
- With narrowing, after every three or four blocks the next one is 6 px narrower. A moving base carries the whole tower from side to side.
- Dark heavy blocks slide faster, drop fast and the wind moves them only half as far. On ice a block slides 8 px further after landing.
- The total height of all your towers and your perfect blocks unlock six tower looks: toys, cake, ice, castle, wood and neon. Pick the look on the start screen.
Endless tower
It starts at the speed of level 10 and keeps getting faster. The tolerance shrinks a little every 10 blocks, and from height 40 the wind blows. Your score is the tower height plus a tenth of it for every block of your longest perfect streak.
Daily Tower
Every day brings a new tower that is the same for everyone, with the same wind and heavy blocks. You have one attempt and build until the tower falls. Your first finished game of the day counts on the leaderboard, later ones are practice. A higher tower is better, and at equal height the longer perfect streak wins.
Controls
- Touch and mouse: tap or click anywhere on the tower area.
- Keyboard: Space, Enter or the down arrow. With Keys set to Any key, every key except Esc and Tab drops the block. Esc pauses the game.
- Slow speed: on the free play start screen it moves the blocks at 60 %. The Daily Tower uses normal speed for everyone.
- If you do not tap for 8 seconds, the block drops by itself.
