Terms
In effect from 1 November 2026. These terms apply to using HoyHop. We will announce changes on this page in advance.
Who runs HoyHop
HoyHop is run by M-Dev from Slovakia. Write to us through the contact form or at [email protected]. The games are free. We try to keep the site running at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Account
You can play without an account. An account is optional and for people aged 16 and over. Age is your statement; if we learn that an account belongs to a younger person, we delete it. You can delete your account at any time in your Profile.
You sign in with a link or a code from email and, if you set one, also with a password. Do not share your password or access to your email with anyone. HoyHop never asks for your password or code by email or phone. After many wrong passwords from one connection we block that connection for a while, but we never lock the account.
Rules for names
An own name on the leaderboards must not contain:
- swear words, insults or hate,
- contact details, names of networks or apps, or requests to get in touch,
- a real first name and surname or other personal data,
- pretending to be someone else.
How we check names: every name goes through a filter, others see a new name only after 24 hours, a name on the leaderboard can be reported, and we check reported names by hand within 72 hours.
Moderation
If a name or result breaks these rules, we may change the name to an animal name, hide it, lock own names for a while, or hide results from the leaderboards. You will always see the reason in your Profile. If you disagree, write to us. We will review the decision and reply with an explanation.
Reporting illegal content
To report a name on the leaderboard, use the flag button next to it. Send any other content you consider illegal to [email protected]: what it is, where you saw it and why you think it is illegal. If you give an email address, we will confirm receipt and tell you our decision.
Quick game with others
Quick game matches a player with people they do not know, and it does not show for children under 13. Play fair and do not spoil the game for others. In online turn-based games everyone has 45 seconds per turn, then the computer moves for them. You can block or report a player who causes trouble in the room, and when at least three people are playing, also vote them out. The room closes after reports from two players, and we read the reports. A player reported by two people from different networks cannot join quick games for 24 hours. More is on the For parents page.
Cheating
We may hide results from the leaderboards that cannot be reached without help (for example, with a program).
Premium
Premium is not on sale yet. We will add the terms of purchase before sales start.
