Sketch & Guess

Loading the game…

Drawing and guessing for families and friends. The words are picked so that children can draw them too.

How to play

Back to the game

In short

  • The player whose turn it is picks one of three words and draws it, without letters or numbers.
  • The others guess what it is. The sooner someone gets it, the more points they get. The drawer scores for everyone who guessed.
  • Everyone draws once per round. The player with the most points at the end wins.

With friends by code

Play with friends creates a room, and friends join with its code or QR code. Three to twelve can play, at most eight in kids mode. The computer can take free seats: it draws its own ready-made pictures and sometimes guesses right.

  • Drawing time is 80 seconds, 90 in kids mode. The turn ends early when nobody is guessing any more. If the drawer disconnects and does not come back right away, their turn is skipped.
  • Type your guess and send it. Accents and capitals do not matter and a small typo in a longer word is forgiven. The game tells you when you are close.
  • Only you see your guesses. The others only see that you got it.
  • Halfway through, the hint shows one letter, and for longer words one more later.
  • In kids mode nobody types: you pick from six words and have two tries. The second try is worth half the points.
  • Points: 50 to 150 for a correct guess depending on the time left. The drawer gets 25 points for everyone who guessed.

On one phone

For three to twelve players around one table. The drawer looks at three words, picks one and draws. The others guess out loud. When someone gets it, the drawer taps their name and both score. Then the phone goes to the next player.

Guess the drawings

A game for one: the computer draws ten pictures one after another and you guess what they are. Answer by typing or by picking from six words. The sooner you guess, the more points you get.

Controls

Draw with a finger, mouse or pen. Next to the canvas you choose a colour, a size and the eraser, Undo takes back the last stroke and the bin clears the whole drawing. On a keyboard the arrow keys move the pen and Space puts it down or lifts it.

Safety

There is no chat in the game. Drawings are not saved. If someone draws something that does not belong in the game, report them with the flag next to their name: their last two drawings and the room events are kept for 30 days so we can check the report. After two reports the room closes.
