HoyHop is built so that children can use it too. Here is exactly what that means.

No account

Everyone plays as a guest. We do not ask for a name, email address or age.

No chat with strangers

There is no way to type free text in the games. The online games we are preparing will only run in private rooms joined with a code you share yourselves, and players will only be able to send preset messages.

No purchases or ads

Nothing can be bought in the games, and there is no virtual currency and no loot boxes. There are no ads on the site right now. If we ever add them, they will be clearly labelled and we will update this page.

No pressure

The games do not send notifications and do not start the next game on their own. Daily challenges come once a day.

Data

Game progress is stored only in the browser on your device. We count visits ourselves on our own server, without cookies and without storing IP addresses. We can see how many people played which game on a given day and for how long, but not who they were. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we respect it.
