Pull the pins in the right order and bring the knight to the princess. Lava and goblins can stop him, water and boulders help.
How to play
Back to the gameIn short
- Tap a pin to pull it out, and whatever is in the chamber falls down: gold, water, lava or a boulder.
- The knight walks to the princess on his own once his way has no lava on it.
- A different order of pins gives a different result, and you do not have to pull every pin.
Goal
Bring the knight to the princess. The rescue earns one star and at least half of the gold earns a second. The third star needs at least 80% of the gold and no extra pins.
What happens in the castle
- Gold is picked up when the knight touches it. Let it fall to him before you open his way.
- Lava is hot. If it touches the knight or the princess, it is an “oops” and you try again. Gold that touches lava turns grey and the knight can no longer pick it up.
- Water turns the top of the lava into stone, and the knight can walk across the stone.
- Boulders fall down and fill a pit. A boulder must not land on the knight or the princess.
- Goblins are sleepy, but if one reaches the knight, it stops him. Lava, a boulder or the friendly dragon, who blows them away, scares them off.
Levels and hints
Free play has levels from three pins up to six, and each level is a little harder than the one before. The next level unlocks once you rescue the princess. After each pin, wait until everything in the castle settles. As soon as the castle has settled, the Hint button names the colour and symbol of the pin to pull next and puts a ring around its handle. Start again puts the castle back as it was.
Pin colours
The pins have no numbers. Each pin in a level has its own colour and symbol on the handle: a red circle, a blue square, a yellow triangle, a green diamond, a purple star or an orange heart. The symbol tells them apart even if you cannot see the colours well.
Daily castle
Every day there is one new castle, the same for every player. After an “oops” or Start again, the next try begins, but Start again before the first pin does not count. The game remembers your tries even if you switch to Free play. If you quit in the middle of a try, it counts as finished. Points: 100 per star, 10 per gold ball and minus 50 for each extra try. The first finished castle of the day counts for the leaderboard, after that you can practise.
